Service Company, under the direct supervision of the Battalion Commander, is composed of 7 Officers and 75 Enlisted Men, many of whom are cooks, vehicle drivers, vehicle mechanics, technicians, and administrative personnel.
The Company is controlled by the Company Commander and his subordinates, which consists of a Battalion Maintenance Officer, Battalion Transportation Officer, Company Maintenance Officer, and three Warrant Officers who are the Assistant Battalion Maintenance Officer, Assistant Battalion Supply Officer, and Personnel Officer. The Battalion Maintenance Officer, working in conjunction with this Company is the direct supervisor of the Battalion Maintenance Section.

During combat these men enabled the Battalion to operate successfully against the enemy. Although many of the deeds were the less spectacular, they were none the less significant in exerting pressure on the enemy. Never has the Battalion suffered from any lack of service regardless of the weather, or combat conditions. These services gave many a thrill and harrowing experience which will never be printed. We can always point with simple pride to the statement that our 7 Officers and 75 Enlisted Men were always present at the right time, and at the right place with the right type of services.
In closing, we wish to thank the other companies that aided us in delivering supplies to the Battalion.
