Enemy situation at end of period:

This battalion was not in combat with the enemy at the end of the period.

Enemy operations during the period:

None

3.

Section operations during the period:

The S-2 Section was engaged in the processing and screening of German civilians and soldiers rounded up in the area, and in the performance of normal garrison duties during the period.

4.

Weather and trafficability:

The weather was exceptionally good during the early part of the month, but during the latter part of the month an unusual amount of rain fell. Trafficability in the area was good.
